We have begun reserving indoor random court time on a limited basis. We will reserve up to two indoor courts at any given time. All indoor court times must be during normal club hours. The court cost is $30/hour.

All outdoor courts remain free to our members. Please be sure to make a reservation for any court usage.

HVTC will be offering pro directed group instruction outdoors from Monday, September 14
through Sunday, October 18. See the schedule, as well as important information
about these programs (pdf).

The club will be offering seasonal court time and men’s doubles and singles leagues indoors
when Governor Whitmer allows us to move indoors. Players are encouraged to consider their
own personal health risks when considering registering for league or SCT play. Our anticipated
start date for this winter season is Sunday, October 25. Applications and further information
will be posted on this website.

HVTC has implemented a number of cleaning and safety protocols to keep our membership
safe. You can view our Preparedness and Response Plan here (documents section). HVTC will continue to closely monitor this pandemic and modify our safety protocols accordingly. Our return to normal will be based on science and safety.

We all eagerly await a viable vaccine, and until one is available, everyone needs to think about
their personal risk factors and plan their tennis accordingly.

Our objective is to provide a great workout with excellent competition and instruction within the framework of a safe tennis environment. Our safety protocol is based on outdoor play, player spacing, ball management, and sanitation breaks.

At this time, we have not been given the go-ahead to open the indoor facility, so amenities such as restrooms and water fountains may not be available. Come prepared for outdoor play with water, hat, mask, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc. We ask that players and parents practice social distancing and leave promptly following the class, as we have a new group arriving. All participants should bring a mask but are not expected to play with one on.

Space is limited to 16 players per camp. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and HVTC members have priority over non-members. Those on the wait list will be invited to fill in for declared absences and cancellations. Late cancellations (the morning of the camp) and no-shows will be billed. There are no walk-ins! These groups are to be held outdoors and therefore are subject to weather cancellation. HVTC accounts will be billed at the end of each one-week session. Rain-shortened meetings will be prorated.

Please do not attend if you have any symptoms of Covid-19 (fever, cough, chills, sore throat, etc). Report any confirmed or suspected cases to HVTC immediately.

As of Friday, June 12 we will resume taking reservations for the outdoor court play and private lessons. We will have reception staff manning the phone from 10am-3pm daily to reserve courts, book lessons and answer questions. The indoor facility remains closed.
