In the coed 10U round robin tournament held February 3, Maddie Morgan was champion, and Brayden Erwin was runner-up. On February 24, Michael Shi won and Anvit Rao was the finalist in the Boys’ 14U Advanced competition. Congratulations to all who competed!

Do you like to practice on the ball machine before a big match or hone your strokes regularly? An annual ball machine pass might be for you. The Individual Pass costs $250 per year. If you hit on the machine just 13 hours, you will save money over our $20 per hour regular rate. You may reserve the machine for 1 hour per day. The Family Pass, at $405 per year, can be used by the pass holder and immediate family; it takes 21 hours to become cost-effective. Family Pass holders may reserve the ball machine for 1.5 hours per day. When you make a reservation, please tell the desk staff you have a pass. The pass may not be used toward hitting lane lessons.

It’s time to sign up for adult USTA summer teams. Team captains will be contacting new and returning players with the team number. If you’re looking for a team to play on, call the club and leave a message for Anne Snell that includes your name, phone number, e-mail address, and USTA rating. HVTC has numerous teams this summer. There are divisions for men, women, and mixed doubles in multiple age brackets. We have just the right level for you, but contact us soon because teams fill up quickly. League play starts in mid-May and continues through July.

We are offering a Mixed Doubles Night on Friday, March 31, 7–9pm. All 3.0–4.0 players are invited to join us for tennis and partying. We play three rounds of tennis; everyone brings a potluck snack and their own beverage for socializing afterward. Please call the front desk to sign up (individually or as a team). Cost is $18 per person.
