2018 Summer Interclub Match Schedule

Saturday Afternoon Match Play (2-4pm)

• Purpose: Give juniors in the HVTC junior program a chance to compete.
• Format: The focus is on singles but doubles may occur because of large numbers or limited open courts.
• Location: It is played on the front outdoor courts unless it rains. If courts are available it is moved indoors. Please call if there is a question (734-662-5514).
• Pro Supervision: A HVTC instructor will set up several rounds of play. Tennis skills and age will be considered in the match ups.
• Cost: Will vary depending on indoor or outdoor play. Balls will be provided.
• Sign-up: At the front control desk. Please print your name and leave your phone number. You may call 734-662-5514 and sign-up.
• When: It usually starts in the fall (September) and in the spring (April).
  Announcements in the junior groups will be made when it starts.

Monday Night High School Match Play

• If you play on a high school varsity or junior varsity this could be for you. Boys or girls are welcome to sign-up.
• Time: 8:30-10pm (Monday Evening)
• Sign-up: Front Desk or Call 734-662-5514 – Please leave us an e-mail if you have one. Register at least 24 hours in advance Open to members and non-members
• Fee: Fee is payable at the start of each training. HVTC accepts credit cards, cash or checks. Cancel at least 6 hours in advance to avoid being charged. No walk ins!
• Format: Warm-up, some drilling and instruction. The primary focus is on improving tactical playing skills.
• Dates: Play usually starts in October and ends in the late spring.
